The Lacey Utility Assistance Fund is a donation supported program to assist low-income families with the municipal utility bill. The fund was developed by the City of Lacey and the CAC, which administers the program. The City of Lacey allocated $7500 to initiate the Utility Assistance Fund in 2011. Contributions from utility customers, community members, and groups will enhance total dollars available to help those in need. Water assistance funds are distributed by the Community Action Council on behalf of the utility companies listed in the table below. These funds are donated to the utilities by customers to help people pay their utility bill and avoid disconnection. To qualify for assistance, you must meet the specific income guidelines, receive water service from the corresponding utility and meet the individual utility restrictions. Please contact the local county office for more information.
