Housing Repair and Rehabilitation Program

Also know as the

Minor Home Repair Program

About the Program

The HRRP program addresses some of the minor home repair needs of low-income individuals and families.  The funds are used in conjunction with state, private and federal weatherization dollars to perform minor home repair on homes receiving weatherization retrofits.

Who is eligible?

To qualify, the gross income received by all household members must be at or below 125 percent of the federally established poverty guidelines. Only low-income applicants of single-family, owner-occupied dwellings may be eligible for these grants and loans.  The condition of the home, the assessed property value and the HUD mortgage guidelines are all factors when determining eligibility.  Homes that are severely deteriorated and require extensive repairs may be ruled "beyond the scope of the program" and therefore ineligible for weatherization and minor home repair services.   Click Here to view income guidelines.
