Career Opportunity: The Community Action Council is looking for our next Weatherization Technician for our Weatherization Program. This person serves on our Weatherization crew working throughout Lewis, Mason and Thurston counties with peers providing health, safety, and energy efficiency measures to homes. Required Qualifications: High school graduate or GED equivalent, knowledge of building construction, insulation and/or weatherization retrofit, ability to climb and descend stairs/ladders, work in confined spaces, bend, crawl, push and drag materials and tools, laying on 2×4 trusses while balancing and/or sitting for long periods of time. Valid Washington State driver license and insurance.
Volunteer Opportunity: The Community Action Council is looking for our next volunteer shuttle driver for our Van Pool Program! This person will shuttle clients from the Lacey Transit Center to the Thurston County Office. Volunteer must have a valid Washington State Drivers License and insurance.
