Community Action Council of Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties proudly celebrated our 50th Anniversary of being a local non-profit organization in September 2016. To celebrate, our agency hosted an Open House event for stakeholders and members of our community. Fifty years of service to our community has been an honor and a privilege; we could not have been around or had the impact we’ve had without our partners, stakeholders, funders and dedicated staff, Board and volunteers. We have grown from a small non-profit with a few staff and a small budget, to over 45 staff in a three county area with an $11 million dollar budget. Our services range from Energy Assistance to Weatherization, from WIC (Women, Infants and Children) to Monarch Children’s Justice and Advocacy Center. Due to the leadership of our Board of Directors and the management team, we are able to provide essential services to those in need. The Council is looking forward to the next 50 years and the opportunities that will come with serving those in our community who need it most.
